In India, we have a thing where we sit together after a day of work and unwind over a glass of tea (chai) and cigarettes (sutta). We call it chai-sutta.
For me, the place we used to go to get chai during my undergrad was by the riverside. Sitting there, sipping chai and talking to the people around me, the world felt small and personal. I captured that vibe with this piece.
